Hundreds of workers are working day and night to complete the final stages for the main stage and grandstand with a "super-huge" scale.

Speaking to Thanh Nien , Mr. Huynh Nam Thang, Vice President and General Directorof Sun Group Central Region, said that up to now, the preparation of the stands and stage has completed about 85% of the items, ensuring readiness for the opening night on May 31.

With the theme "Da Nang - a new era", the main stage of the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is inspired by the typical natural beauty of Da Nang City, recreating the image of the Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot with the ocean on one side, the highlight is the shining pearl in the center, symbolizing the strong desire for innovation and growth of Da Nang.

According to Mr. Thang, the DIFF 2025 stage in particular also applies a series of modern performance technologies. In particular, the most prominent is the mechanical system with 5 large lifting domes, the central dome is up to 21 m wide, nearly double the scale of the 2024 stage. The two 18.5 m wide wing domes and two secondary domes on the banks of the Han River create a lively performance space, changing flexibly according to each performance.

Along with that, the new generation of LED floor and upgraded surround sound system bring the ultimate visual and auditory experience and optimize the viewing angle from every position in the stands. The surround sound is upgraded to suit both the fireworks display and the live concert... will immerse the audience in the space of fireworks and art in a completely new way.

DIFF 2025 will have a total of 5 stands installed, with a capacity of more than 10,000 seats, maintaining the same large scale as in 2024 and double that of 2023. The final night alone will have an additional 2,500-seat stand to serve increased demand.

Not only a festival of lights and fireworks, DIFF 2025 is also a place where top-notch music converges. Mr. Huynh Nam Thang revealed that this year's opening night will feature the appearance of singer Tung Duong, promising to ignite emotions for thousands of spectators.

Notably, the Organizing Committee is actively working with the representative of singer My Tam - a native of Da Nang. "If everything goes well, My Tam will appear in the final night. The performance of the "brown-haired nightingale" is also a special gift that DIFF gives to the people and tourists," said Mr. Thang.

In addition, this year's DIFF stage will also welcome the participation of many young singers who have won high prizes at major music competitions, promising to create a rich and modern music and art program.

DIFF 2025 marks a turning point with a stage area of ​​up to 1,605.8 m², an increase of more than 60% compared to last year. The open design, twice the width of 2024, brings a multi-layered, modern and vibrant performance space like never before.

The DIFF 2025 International Fireworks Festival is organized by the People's Committee of Da Nang City, with the support of Sun Group Corporation. The opening night will take place at 8:10 p.m. on May 31, and the closing ceremony will take place on July 12.

With 10 fireworks teams from countries such as: Finland (reigning champion 2024), England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada, China, and 2 host teams Vietnam, each performance night will be a unique, charming and eye-catching symphony.

The opening night on May 31 with the theme "Cultural Essence" is the competition between 2 teams: Vietnam 1 and Finland, promising brilliant fireworks in the sky of the Han River.
