Speaking to Dan Tri reporters, business representatives expressed their belief in Vietnam's potential, their expectations and aspirations to contribute. They recognized that this is a favorable time for Vietnamese businesses to grow stronger, taking advantage of opportunities from an increasingly transparent, fair business environment and orienting to accompany the State.
Vietnamese enterprises expect to strongly promote the spirit of innovation, exploit the potential of the digital economy and contribute more to the country's sustainable development.
Vietnamese entrepreneurs have a foundation of technology, knowledge and deep integration.
Mr. Mai Huu Tin - Chairman of the Board of Directors of U&I Group - expressed his pride that the Vietnamese business community has a separate day to honor their contributions to the country.
“We are happy to have such a common day. Of course, compared to developed countries, Vietnamese entrepreneurs are still quite far behind. But because of their low starting point, the will to rise and the efforts to overcome difficulties of each enterprise are very valuable,” he said.
According to him, it is important that that will be accompanied by appropriate policies and support, helping businesses have the conditions to develop. "This year is more special because of Resolution 68 on private economic development. Thanks to the new policy, businesses dare to think bigger, set higher goals, because they believe that they will be accompanied and supported," he shared.
He also emphasized the role of the business community in taking more drastic action, alongside the public sector. "Our role is to motivate people to be stronger, more drastic so that they believe they can do it with the support of the public sector," he said.
He also affirmed that trust and consensus between the state and businesses are prerequisites. “If only one side makes efforts, success cannot be achieved. Large enterprises must play a leading role, and the state needs to have flexible policies. When there is a transparent monitoring mechanism and clear responsibilities, trust will be strengthened,” Mr. Tin pointed out.
Besides, he believes that although small businesses are limited in capital and experience, with a large number, if properly organized and connected, they will create great synergy.

According to him, the industry ecosystem model will be an effective direction. Because large enterprises cannot develop alone, but must pull along small and micro enterprises in the value chain. “When an industry develops, all enterprises in the industry have the opportunity to grow. That is the only way for the spirit of the resolution to truly spread,” he said.
Talking about the young generation of entrepreneurs, Mr. Tin also expressed his confidence and expectations. “They have a foundation of technology, knowledge and deep integration. What they need is opportunity and a fair playing field to contribute,” he said.
“I want to tell young people that we are at the best and most suitable time to act. If we do not take action now, we may have to wait a long time. Step out of your comfort zone, do not let the opportunity pass and then regret it,” he said.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Deputy General Director of Vikki Bank - said that Vietnam is among the countries with the fastest growth rate of cashless payments in the world . The ecosystem of e-wallets, QR codes and open banking (open API) is expanding rapidly, creating a foundation for embedded financial models, personalized insurance and automated investment advice using AI.
Digital assets (including crypto assets and intangible assets in the form of data) are entering a global boom phase. Many countries are testing central bank digital currencies, while Vietnam is gradually forming a legal corridor through the Law on Technology Industry No. 71/2025 and Resolution 05/2025 on piloting the crypto asset market.

To unlock the potential of Vietnamese businesses, Mr. Thanh proposed that it is necessary to quickly remove legal, infrastructure and human resource barriers - in which the lack of tax framework, accounting, safe custody services and specialized human resources are the biggest bottlenecks.
Never before has the private economic sector received as many strong policies and resolutions as it does today.
Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen - Deputy General Director of FPT Retail Joint Stock Company (FPT Group) - said that the private economic sector has never received as many strong policies and resolutions as it does now from the Government and the Party. "Our businesses feel really excited and happy. There have never been as many strong policies, resolutions and policies to promote the private economy as now," Ms. Quyen shared.
According to her, Resolution 72 of the Politburo is “an extremely important and groundbreaking legal corridor” for the health sector in general and the private health sector in particular. “When reading each sentence and each word in the resolution, we feel that the private health sector has never had such a complete legal foundation. The only remaining issue is what each business will do to join in that spirit of urgency and breakthrough,” she said.
She said businesses said their greatest wish was to contribute their intelligence and networks to bring the Party and State's policies closer to the people.
“We want people to feel that they are the ones being cared for, looked after and respected in all decisions of the Party and State,” Ms. Quyen emphasized.

She also proposed actively participating in the program of free annual health check-ups for Vietnamese people from 2026 - an initiative considered a concrete step to realize the spirit of "public-private partnership" in community health care.
“Vietnam’s greatest strength is the strength of its people. When people are cared for and looked after, they will feel fulfilled and proud of where they live. Then, the quality of life will certainly improve because trust, health and happiness all start from there,” she emphasized.
