Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 has just announced 6 methods of regular university admission in 2026, including: Direct admission; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering high school transcripts; considering independent exam results organized by Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 and Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University; admission combining the above methods with aptitude test scores.
With the method of considering academic records, instead of considering all majors like last year, the school limits admission to the following majors: Preschool Education, Physical Education, Civic Education, Information Technology Pedagogy, Information Technology, Materials Science, Sports Management, Vietnamese Studies, Pedagogy (expected), Political Economy (expected).
Thus, compared to last year, in 2026, there are 17 industries expected to no longer use the high school transcript selection method for admission.
Regarding the assessment of capacity test scores, the school has stopped considering the assessment of capacity test scores of Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi Pedagogical University.
Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 notes that the above admission methods will be updated when there are guidelines for admission in 2026 from the Ministry of Education and Training.
In 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry will not use high school transcripts as an independent admission method like previous years.

According to the 2026 regular university admission information of Nha Trang University, the school will consider admission by 3 methods, in which high school academic results (transcripts) will not be used and priority points will not be added for IELTS certificates. The admission combinations are adjusted to ensure that both Math and Literature are included.
According to the latest announcement, the Political Officer School will stop recruiting according to the two groups A00 (Math - Physics - Chemistry) and C00 (Literature - History - Geography) from 2026. The school will switch to four new groups, all based on Math and Literature, including: C01: Literature - Math - Physics; C03: Literature - Math - History; C04: Literature - Math - Geography; D01: Literature - Math - English.

He emphasized: “There are many different sources of information, but not all of them are completely accurate. You need to go to the website of the school you are interested in and read it carefully. An admission plan has many technical regulations. If you do not read carefully and do not understand it, you can easily make mistakes and affect your own interests.”
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son also said that the school plans to announce the 2026 enrollment plan in early December. The school is still calculating the quota for each major, because this year the school plans to have a number of new training majors.
