DNVN - On January 23, FPT Digital Retail Joint Stock Company (HoSE: FRT) announced its 2024 business results with revenue and pre-tax profit both exceeding the plan.
By the end of 2024, FPT Retail recorded a total cumulative revenue of VND 40,104 billion, up 26% over the same period and exceeding the annual plan. Of which, the company's total online revenue reached VND 7,165 billion, up 23% over the same period. Thanks to its continuous efforts, the company's cumulative pre-tax profit in 2024 reached VND 527 billion, more than 4 times higher than the plan.
FPT Long Chau chain recorded a revenue growth of 59% compared to 2023, reaching VND 25,320 billion and accounting for 63% of FRT's total revenue. Continuously maintaining impressive growth momentum, FPT Long Chau continues to affirm its leading position in terms of scale and operational efficiency of the pharmacy chain. Accordingly, the average monthly revenue of each pharmacy remains stable at about VND 1.2 billion, in the context that the newly opened pharmacies in 2024 are smaller in scale than the existing pharmacies.
In 2024, FPT Retail will achieve VND 40,104 billion in revenue and VND 527 billion in pre-tax profit.
In 2024, FPT Shop chain revenue reached 15,126 billion VND. Thanks to the comprehensive restructuring strategy and efforts to improve operations every quarter, business results have made positive progress as the operating efficiency of stores has continuously improved. In the fourth quarter of 2024 alone, the average revenue per store reached 2.2 billion VND/month, the highest level since the beginning of the year. Notably, this is the second consecutive quarter that FPT Shop chain has recorded profits.
In 2024, FPT Shop made its mark with determined steps in promoting new products and services, aiming to diversify its business portfolio, contributing to significantly improving gross profit. After the trial period of converting the regular FPT Shop store model to FPT Shop Dien May stores with many innovations in the third quarter, by the end of the fourth quarter of 2024, FPT Shop Dien May expanded its network to 54 stores nationwide.
Regarding the store network, by the end of 2024, FPT Retail will own a network of 2,703 stores nationwide. Of which, FPT Long Chau will expand with 1,943 pharmacies, an increase of 446 pharmacies compared to the beginning of 2024.
FPT Long Chau vaccination center system continues to expand, reaching 126 centers across 54 provinces and cities, an increase of 116 centers compared to the beginning of 2024. Developed according to the pharmacy-based model, FPT Long Chau vaccination center system brings customers the opportunity to access high-quality and reliable medical services. Typically in the fourth quarter, FPT Long Chau is one of the pioneering vaccination centers providing new vaccines in the Vietnamese market such as dengue fever vaccine and herpes zoster vaccine.
