Accordingly, from the night of October 25th to the morning of October 27th, Hue city experienced heavy rain, with some areas receiving very heavy rainfall. The total rainfall from 1 PM on October 25th to 4 AM on October 27th was generally 250-450 mm. Some areas received even higher amounts, such as Bach Ma Peak (1,426 mm), Khe Tre (700 mm), Huong Son (589 mm), Thuong Quang (585 mm), and Huong Phu (574 mm). The highest hourly rainfall was 104.6 mm/hour at the Nam Dong station between 12 AM and 1 AM on October 27th.
According to the weather forecast from the City Meteorological and Hydrological Station, from the morning of October 27th to October 29th, Hue City will continue to experience heavy to very heavy rain, with exceptionally heavy rain in some mountainous areas. The total rainfall is expected to be between 250-500 mm, with some areas exceeding 700 mm.
Currently, flood levels on rivers in Hue City are rising rapidly and remaining high. At 8:00 AM on October 27th, water levels on the Perfume River at Kim Long exceeded alarm level 3, and the Bo River at Phu Oc also exceeded alarm level 3. The flood situation is developing in a complex manner.

National Highway 49, specifically the Kim Quy pass section in Hamlet 4, Binh Dien Commune, Hue City, has suffered serious landslides.
To proactively prepare for and respond to floods, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the City requested that agencies, units, and localities proactively monitor forecast information and the development of floods; promptly direct and implement response work according to the "four on-the-spot" principle within their assigned tasks and authority, avoiding passivity and surprise in any situation.
The People's Committees of communes and wards shall continue to urgently implement support for the evacuation and relocation of people to safe areas according to the approved plan, prioritizing the safety of vulnerable groups (pregnant women, the elderly, children, people with disabilities, etc.). They shall implement flood, inundation, and landslide response plans according to the approved plan; absolutely prohibit vehicles and individuals from traveling on rivers, lakes, canals, etc., that are not safe or do not have sufficient safety equipment (life jackets, lifebuoys, safe floating materials).
Organize a review of the stockpiling of essential supplies, equipment, and goods, especially in areas frequently isolated by heavy rains and floods, and in remote areas; educate people on the importance of stockpiling locally to prepare for prolonged periods of heavy rain and flooding.
Owners of irrigation and hydropower dams and reservoirs are organizing 24/7 duty shifts and continuing to strictly implement reservoir operation to ensure water levels comply with regulations stipulated in Decision 1606/QD-TTg dated November 13, 2019, of the Prime Minister on the issuance of the inter-reservoir operation procedure on the Huong River basin and the approved reservoir operation procedure, ensuring the safety of the structures and downstream areas.
The City Military Command, the City Police, and local authorities are ready with rescue and relief forces and equipment to promptly deploy and respond when needed.
