According to the report, as of November 30, 2025, 48 industrial parks have been established in the province with a total planned area of 14,908.94 hectares. The area requiring compensation and land clearance is 14,812.44 hectares; of which 11,041.76 hectares have been compensated, leaving 3,770.68 hectares yet to be cleared, accounting for 25.4%. Compared to previous reviews, the progress of land clearance at many industrial park projects has shown positive improvements.

A representative from Ngoc Phong Joint Stock Company presented a report at the meeting.

At the meeting, the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board noted that many projects have implemented land clearance effectively, achieving over 95% of the area, notably Phu An Thanh, Huu Thanh, Long Hau 3 (phase 1), Nam Thuan, Prodezi Long An , Tandoland, and Nhut Chanh Industrial Parks. These projects have clear compensation schedules and close coordination between investors and local authorities, creating favorable conditions for early infrastructure development and investment attraction.

Representatives from Long An Port Industrial Services Co., Ltd. presented their report at the meeting.

Notably, some projects have nearly completed land clearance work, such as Phu An Thanh Industrial Park, which has cleared nearly 99% of its area, and Huu Thanh Industrial Park, which has achieved a land clearance rate of 98.2%.

Similarly, Long Hau 3 Industrial Park (phase 1) has cleared over 98% of its land area, with the remaining approximately 2.4 hectares currently undergoing land acquisition procedures by the local authorities. The Prodezi Long An and Tandoland Industrial Park projects have also achieved over 97% completion, with only a few households requesting adjustments to compensation prices or resettlement arrangements.

Despite the achievements, some industrial park projects are still behind schedule in land clearance due to legal issues related to land, lack of resettlement funds, and residents not yet agreeing to hand over the land, etc.

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, Truong Thanh Liem, requested that industrial park investors be more proactive and decisive in coordinating with local authorities and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to complete legal procedures, expedite land surveying, compensation payments, and resettlement arrangements. For cases of non-compliance, local authorities must fully implement the mandatory land acquisition procedures as stipulated by law.

Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, Truong Thanh Liem, delivered the concluding remarks at the meeting.

The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board affirmed that it will continue to closely monitor the progress of each project, promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the removal of bottlenecks, in order to soon complete land clearance work, create clean land for industrial development and attract sustainable investment in the area.
