Police, Military and Border Guard forces step up attacks and suppression of all types of crime

DTO - On the afternoon of April 1, at the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Military Command - Provincial Police - Provincial Border Guard Command jointly held a conference to implement Decree No. 03 dated September 5, 2019 of the Government on coordination between the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense in performing the task of protecting national security and defense tasks in Dong Thap province in the first quarter of 2025.

According to the assessment at the conference, in the first quarter, the situation of the border, border, security and order (ANTT) in the province continued to be stable. The Police, Military and Border Guard forces performed well in their tasks of ensuring ANTT, maintaining national border sovereignty, maintaining order and constantly improving the quality and effectiveness of information exchange. From there, they promptly informed each other about the situation related to ANTT, national defense to have effective preventive, combat and containment measures.

The three forces coordinated patrols to ensure security and order, and traffic safety in more than 5,260 cases with the participation of nearly 35,460 officers and soldiers. The authorities drew up records to fine 636 cases of traffic safety violations; dispersed more than 2,520 young people gathering late at night, showing signs of violating the law, 365 gambling spots; arrested and handled 74 cases/221 criminals and violators of the law on social order, economy , drugs, environment, and social evils.

In the coming time, the three units agreed to coordinate to grasp the situation, strengthen information exchange, coordinate news checking, promptly assess, evaluate, and forecast the situation early and from afar, not to be passive or surprised in any situation; develop inter-sectoral plans and schemes to protect key targets and important events held in the province.

Along with that, coordinate patrols and strictly control the border, promptly detect, prevent and handle cases of smuggling, illegal transportation of drugs, and illegal entry and exit across the border. The authorities step up attacks and suppresses all types of crimes, especially transnational crimes and high-tech crimes; do not allow the formation of criminal organizations and gangs.
