An Giang armed forces compete in "Skilled Civil Affairs"

On the morning of May 29, the Military Command of An Giang province held a conference to summarize and reward 5 collectives and 25 individuals who implemented the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", building "Good mass mobilization unit" in the period 2021 - 2025.

After 5 years of implementing the movement, the Party Committee - Provincial Military Command, agencies and affiliated units have many practical, quality and effective works, contents and tasks. Typical examples include: Models of "Tet Quan - Dan", "Sentiment of comrades", "Warmth of the rear", "Mobilizing support for building houses for militia and reserve forces", "Rice jar of military-civilian affection", "Rice jar of love", "Filial children", "Godmother", "Connecting the rear"...

The above models contribute to caring for and stabilizing the lives of families of cadres and soldiers in difficult circumstances, families of policy beneficiaries, and poor households; leaving a good impression of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people. At the same time, strengthening the strength of the political system at the grassroots level, consolidating the close relationship between the Army and the People, maintaining political stability, and building a solid position of people's hearts.

On the same morning, the Border Guard Command of An Giang province held a meeting and presented funds to students in the project "Army officers and soldiers help students go to school".

Funding for students

The Provincial Border Guard Command directed border posts to coordinate with localities to review students in difficult circumstances in border areas and propose support from superiors. These are ethnic minority students (Khmer, Cham, Chinese) who have lost their parents and need attention and help to continue their journey of seeking knowledge and escaping poverty.

At Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded funds to 6 students in Chau Doc City; at Nhon Hung Border Guard Station, awarded funds to 10 students in Tinh Bien Town, with a support level of 7.4 million VND/student/year.
