In 2024, the Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command will continue to thoroughly grasp and successfully implement resolutions, directives, orders, plans, and instructions from all levels on combat training tasks. Focus on training according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid"; well implement 3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations in training; attach importance to synchronous, in-depth training, focusing on practice; organize training close to the task situation, combat objects, areas, organization, equipment and weapons of units; focus on professional training, border tactics, and crime catching tactics. Closely combine training with regular construction, strictly comply with military discipline and state laws; build a comprehensively strong agency and unit that is "exemplary and typical".

At the ceremony, the Emulation and Reward Council of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command launched the emulation movements: "Excellent training, strict training, high combat readiness, absolute safety" and "Discipline, regularity, creativity, efficiency, safety" associated with the peak emulation period "Following the footsteps of Dien Bien soldiers - Advance to win 3 first place".

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Doan Xuan Buong, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 acknowledged and commended the results and achievements that the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command have achieved in the past time. In order to successfully complete the training tasks in the coming time, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region requested the units to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement Resolution No. 1659 of the Central Military Commission; Resolution No. 775 of the Military Region Party Committee and the Combat Training Order of the Commander of Military Region 4, ensuring that 100% of officers and soldiers are deeply aware of the tasks, clearly identify responsibilities, build determination, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the combat training tasks in 2024.

In organizing training, it is necessary to focus on training in infantry combat techniques and tactics for each individual, team, and squad; increase training in infantry team topics for shooting UAV targets, increase night training, and combine training with physical training; pay attention to ensuring absolute confidentiality of communications, improving the level of coordination in combat operations in each squad, and ensuring absolute safety for units on the border and islands.
