VI Lenin was a great thinker, an outstanding political theorist; an outstanding leader of the working class and working people around the world; a defender and developer of Marxism in the conditions of capitalism's transition from the stage of free competition to the stage of imperialism and the construction of real socialism; the founder of the Soviet state - the first socialist state in the world.

Throughout his life of revolutionary activities, VI Lenin made enormous contributions to the cause of liberating the working people of the world , fighting against imperialism, fighting for peace, independence and freedom of nations. The legacy that VI Lenin left to progressive humanity is enormous both in terms of practical revolutionary activities and ideological theory. One of VI Lenin's great contributions to the development of Marxist theory, as well as to the revolutionary cause of the working class, is the theory of the new type of Party of the working class. VI Lenin believed that "The Party is the vanguard of the working class", an inseparable part of the working class, the most elite part, the most revolutionary enlightenment, bearing the nature of the working class, a loyal representative of the goals, ideals, stance and interests of the working class, shouldering the historical mission of the working class.

Assessing the great stature of VI Lenin, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: “Lenin is the one who implemented and developed Marxism-Engelsism. He is the father of the proletarian revolution and the national liberation revolution. He is the teacher who trained revolutionary fighters all over the world, not only with the most scientific revolutionary theory, but also with the highest revolutionary morality”.

It can be seen that the life of VI Lenin's activities and revolutionary morality are a shining example and a source of pride for our country. The name of VI Lenin has become a symbol of the communist ideal, a symbol of the interests and aspirations of the working class and oppressed working masses around the world. VI Lenin affirmed that all different nations in the world, according to objective laws, must inevitably advance to socialism and the party of the working class must play a leading role in the construction of socialism. The Communist Party is the most important and indispensable factor in the construction of socialism.

According to VI Lenin, building a team of truly exemplary cadres who always strive for the people's interests is a prerequisite for building a clean and strong socialist state. That means cadres must be people with full qualities, abilities, virtues and talents, wholeheartedly serving the people, bringing a good life to the people. In particular, VI Lenin believed that in order to build a clean and strong Party, capable of leading the revolution, realizing its goals and ideals, it is necessary to resolutely and uncompromisingly fight against bureaucracy and corruption. It is necessary to build a state where power truly belongs to the people, always strengthening the people's trust in the Party and the State.

Applying the great thoughts of VI Lenin, over the past 94 years, our Party and President Ho Chi Minh have successfully built a new type of Party in Vietnam. Under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese revolution has overcome all rapids to reach the shore of glory, the material and spiritual life of all classes of people has been constantly improved and enhanced.

In particular, in the current period, when the country is promoting industrialization, modernization and increasingly deep international integration, our Party and State have continuously built a team of cadres, increasing in number and improving all aspects, gaining the trust and support of the people. The dynamism and creativity of the team of leaders and managers in implementing socio-economic policies and international integration, actively contributing to very important achievements in the fields of politics, economics - culture, national defense - security, foreign affairs... that has affirmed that "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today".

It can be affirmed that the contributions of VI Lenin, especially in the work of Party building and rectification, are extremely important to our Party, especially in the current context when a large number of cadres and Party members have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation", especially the increasingly complicated situation of bureaucracy, corruption, shirking, shirking responsibility, officialdom, indifference, apathy... along with the frenzied resistance against hostile forces, especially on the ideological and cultural front. Therefore, the creative application of VI Lenin's important instructions in the work of Party building and rectification is an urgent task with a more positive, determined and stronger spirit to create a new change in all aspects, which is a vital command for the Party and our country in the new situation.

The document of the 13th National Congress of the Party affirmed: "Resolutely and persistently fight to prevent and repel corruption and waste with higher political determination, stronger and more effective actions". The fight against corruption is the responsibility of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire political system. Therefore, there must be high unity within the entire Party, and it must be carried out from top to bottom as a fight against evil, with no forbidden zones, in order to build an increasingly clean and strong Party.

In the recent past, with the spirit of no “forbidden zones” and “no exceptions”, the fight against corruption, waste and negativity has achieved important results, especially the “major cases” that have been brought to public trial, with the right people and the right crimes, further strengthening the people’s trust in the Party, building our Party to be increasingly clean, worthy of “being moral and civilized”, being the leader and loyal servant of the people.

Lenin has been gone for 154 years, but his life of revolutionary activities is still a shining example for true communists around the world to strive to learn and follow; his thoughts and theories live forever, a revolutionary flag illuminating the path to liberating the working class, working people and the cause of building socialism for peoples around the world. As President Ho Chi Minh wrote: "When he was alive, he was our father, teacher, comrade and advisor. Today, he is the bright star guiding us to the social revolution".
