The Malaysian national team has three new players who are in the process of completing naturalization procedures, this was confirmed by the President of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Datuk Mohd Joehari Mohd Ayub. These are all players of mixed blood and will soon join the Malaysian national team.
"One player has passed the paperwork, another is still in the process. But we hope everything will be completed soon," Datuk Mohd Joehari Mohd Ayub told Berita Harian today.
According to Mr. Mohd Ayu, the process is gradually being completed and a dossier has been completed and also explained these players to strengthen the Malaysian team in the upcoming key match against Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

In addition to the ongoing naturalization process, Malaysia has two new naturalized players. They are midfielder Hector Hevel and defender Gabriel Palmero. Hector made his debut for Malaysia, scoring in his first match to help Malaysia defeat Nepal 2-0 in the opening match of the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.
Also after this victory, Malaysian media said that their national team is strengthening with 7 naturalized players for the reign of coach Peter Cklamovski.
Malaysia will host Vietnam on June 10. This match could decide the ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup finals for both teams.
