The program is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Vietnam Journalists Association and Vietnam Television to honor the great contributions of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press over 100 years.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that 100 years since the first newspaper named Thanh Nien in 1925, founded and led by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press has grown up and always accompanied the nation and the country. It has become a core pioneering force on the ideological and cultural front of the Party and has made outstanding contributions to the development of the country's revolution.
The press always plays a pioneering role, leading the way, accompanying the implementation, and following the conclusion. The milestone of 100 years of Revolutionary Press is a fulcrum to continue on a new journey, deeper, more creative, more inspiring in the direction of professionalism, humanity and modernity.
“Literature and journalism have a close and lasting relationship, both have the mission of cultivating viewpoints, awareness, thoughts, emotions, and aesthetics for the majority of people. Approaching in that direction, with artistic images combined with modern and traditional artistic techniques, the special art program aims at the combination of the past and the present, and is also a word of gratitude, a fragrant flower sent to journalists”, Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized.

The special art program honoring journalism includes 4 chapters: Chapter I: The Beginning - The foundation of hundreds of years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism; Chapter II: The fierceness of the resistance war to defend the country - The dedication and devotion of revolutionary journalism; Chapter III: Gratitude; Chapter IV: The era of rising up - Prosperity, strength, journalism accompanies the nation. Each chapter is a skillful combination of singing, dancing, music, artistic commentary, documentary reporting, screen graphics...

In particular, the program has the participation of famous artists: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Khanh Ngoc, Viet Danh, Xuan Hao, Thu Hang, Thu An, Hai Anh, Phuc Dai; groups: Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam; along with dance groups and choirs from the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater.
Through compositions that have stood the test of time such as: The Torch Song, Ho Chi Minh, the Most Beautiful Name, My Pride in Journalism, Our Journalism, Like Nameless Flowers, My Beloved Journalism… the program takes the audience back in time, immersing them in the historical flow of a glorious century of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism.
