Opening of the 2025 National Beach Petanque Championship in Cua Lo

This year's tournament takes place from November 14 to 23, 2025 at Cua Lo beach, gathering nearly 150 athletes from 12 provinces, cities and sectors across the country to compete in many events.

On the morning of November 15, the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Beach Petanque Championship took place at Cua Lo beach , Nghe An province.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the National Athlete Training Center ; On the side of Nghe An province, there was Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, Head of the Organizing Committee; representatives of departments, branches and the host unit, the Nghe An Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.

In her opening speech, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province Tran Thi My Hanh said: The 2025 National Beach Petanque Championship is an important sporting event, contributing to promoting the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho " and the movement "Healthy to start a business and protect the country ". Organizing the tournament at Cua Lo beach - a friendly and hospitable tourist destination - is also an opportunity for Nghe An to promote the image of a land rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions and on the path of development and integration.
