Mang Den promotes linkage in production and consumption of agricultural products

(QNgTV) - In order to develop agricultural production in a sustainable direction, the leaders of Mang Den Commune People's Committee had a working session with businesses to sign a cooperation agreement on sustainable development of agricultural raw material areas in the area.

Leaders of Mang Den commune and Sao Mai Agricultural Products Processing Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement on building and sustainably developing agricultural raw material areas.

Mang Den commune leaders signed a cooperation agreement with Sao Mai Agricultural Products Processing Joint Stock Company on building and sustainably developing agricultural raw material areas in the commune, including passion fruit, rice, ginseng and other medicinal herbs. Planning and organizing the development of passion fruit growing areas of 200-300 hectares ensures a stable and sustainable source of raw materials for the processing plant, increases farmers' income, and promotes local economic development. At the same time, Sao Mai Agricultural Products Processing Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with businesses in the commune.

Mang Den commune has many potentials and advantages to develop high-value crops such as cold-climate coffee, medicinal herbs, fruit trees, cold-climate vegetables. Up to now, the commune has nearly 280 hectares of medicinal herbs, 636 hectares of coffee trees and more than 300 hectares of cold-climate vegetables and flowers. The locality has identified the linkage between enterprises and people in agricultural production to help improve production efficiency, increase value and expand the consumption market for local agricultural products.
