However, according to parents, the facilities at this school are seriously degraded, with large pieces of plaster falling from the ceiling into the classrooms in some classrooms, posing a danger to teachers and students. Many parents have let their children stay home from school out of concern.

A parent whose child is studying at Thanh Quan Secondary School shared that on April 18, a large piece of plaster from the ceiling fell into the classroom. This situation continued to occur in the following days.

"We, the parents, are very worried and have repeatedly complained to the school, but there has been no solution to ensure the safety of the students. On May 5, in some classrooms, there were continuous power outages several times a day, and the hot weather directly affected the health and learning of the students.

Many parents have decided to let their children stay home from school to ensure safety," said this parent.

Mr. NTH, a parent whose child had to wear a cast on his right leg and had to miss several days of school due to the falling mortar incident at Thanh Quan Secondary School on April 18, said the incident happened at the end of the school year, when students were taking semester exams, thus greatly affecting their children's studies.

This parent also requested the school and relevant authorities to take immediate action to fix the degraded school situation and ensure the safety of students and teachers.

While it is not possible to fix it, consider switching to online learning to ensure safety.
