5 goals of PSG in the Champions League final In the early morning of June 1, PSG rose and created the Champions League final with the biggest difference in history.

The capital team opened the match extremely impressively with two goals in the first half from Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue. In the second half, PSG continued to score three more goals thanks to Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu, thereby easily winning convincingly.

While PSG were crowned European champions, ESPN pundit Herculez Gomez did not hesitate to criticize Mbappe. The Frenchman left Paris last year because he refused to change and did not contribute to the defense as coach Luis Enrique demanded.

Gomez stressed that Mbappe is PSG's problem, while Ousmane Dembele is the one who follows Enrique's philosophy and is reaping success thanks to those efforts.

"Before leaving, Luis Enrique tried to convince Mbappe of the importance of supporting the team defensively," Gomez shared. "Now, Dembele has made great progress and is a strong candidate for the Ballon d'Or, as well as lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time."

With two assists in the 5-0 win over Inter, Dembele is clearly the number one candidate for this year's Ballon d'Or despite not scoring. This season, the former Barcelona star has scored 32 goals and added 12 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.

Mbappe left PSG on a free transfer last summer to join Real Madrid. Since the departure of the French captain, coach Luis Enrique and his team have enjoyed a historic season, winning the quadruple of Ligue 1, Champions League, Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions.
