Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance over 12 billion in Vietnam

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has just officially announced the distribution of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance convertible sports car in Vietnam, with a recommended price of up to 12.29 billion VND. Notably, only two cars were brought to Vietnam.

The new Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance 2025 not only impresses with its commercial value but also affirms its position as a rare high-performance roadster that combines tradition and the future. This is the first time in Vietnam that an SL model is equipped with the high-performance hybrid powertrain E Performance - a technology directly inspired by the Formula 1™ racing cars of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas racing team.

Thanks to the combination of a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine located at the front axle with a 204 horsepower electric motor mounted on the rear axle, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance achieves a total capacity of up to 816 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,420 Nm - parameters that are only seen in the world of supercars.

Not only powerful, the new SL model also brings a clear change in design. The car's appearance is a blend of modern sporty style and nostalgic lines of the legendary SL line that made Mercedes-Benz famous since the 1950s. Long hood, rounded rear, cabin pushed back,...

The electrically adjustable rear spoiler and 21-inch alloy wheels not only create a distinctive aesthetic but also contribute to improving aerodynamics. The AIRPANEL active aerodynamic system and adjustable carbon bars under the chassis help the car grip the road better at high speeds. In addition, the rear spoiler can change its angle depending on operating conditions, ensuring maximum stability.

Inside the cockpit, the SL 63 SE Performance continues to demonstrate the “hyper-analog” philosophy – combining traditional mechanical driving feeling with modern digital technology. The interior is upholstered in premium Nappa leather, AMG sports seats with AIRSCARF neck-heating system, the MANUFAKTUR microfiber headliner and the 64-color interior lighting system create a space that is both luxurious and sporty.

The center console is an 11.9-inch tilt-adjustable touchscreen, accompanied by a 12.3-inch digital display behind the steering wheel. The AMG-tuned MBUX interface displays performance parameters, track maps, and even lap time analysis with the AMG Track Pace feature.

Not stopping at design and interior, the performance is what makes this car truly an emotional machine. Specifically, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a maximum speed of 317 km/h.

The AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system combined with rear-wheel steering provides agility at low speeds and absolute stability at high speeds. The 400-volt AMG high-performance battery – with direct cell cooling – ensures rapid energy release and efficient recharging thanks to deceleration energy recuperation.

The driver can choose between 8 different operating modes, from “Electric” – pure electric, to “Race” – for the racetrack, or personalize with “Individual” mode.

Depending on your needs, the SL 63 SE Performance can glide smoothly like an electric luxury car or become fiery with the characteristic roar of the AMG engine and active exhaust, with customizable sound levels.

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam will officially introduce the SL 63 SE Performance model at the event “Mercedes-Benz Masterpiece Space” taking place from July 3 to 5 at GEM Center (HCMC). This is an exhibition that brings together the brand’s most advanced models, in a luxurious space with a limited number of attendees, promising to bring an exclusive experience to those who are truly passionate about speed and class.
