Dismissal of principal for 12th grade student 'voluntarily' leaving school

Dak Lak Department of Education and Training has decided to dismiss the principal who allowed 12th grade students to 'voluntarily' drop out of school.

On October 8, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training announced that the unit had issued a decision to dismiss Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue from the position of Principal of Cao Ba Quat High School (Thanh Nhat Ward, Dak Lak).

According to the decision, Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue was dismissed from her position due to her previous disciplinary warning. The Dak Lak Department of Education and Training requested Ms. Hue to hand over all management work to the vice principal in charge of the school and be transferred to work as a teacher at this school.

Previously, Ms. Hue held the position of Principal of Chu Van An High School and was disciplined by the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training with a warning on September 2025.

Specifically, Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue, in her responsibility as principal, had many shortcomings and violations in implementing regulations on professional regulations, non-budgetary revenues and expenditures, and financial and public asset management.

In May 2025, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training determined that the suspension of 16 12th grade students from Cao Ba Quat High School from September 2024 to April 2025 was against regulations. Of these, 5 students requested to reserve their study results, and 1 student returned to school from May 12, HGB.

When HGB "voluntarily" applied to reserve her results and return to school, Ms. Hue replied: "The graduation exam was not approved, she did not pass the exam, the school has erased her name, how can she return to school?"

After the press reported, 4 students returned to school and all passed the high school graduation exam. Among them, HGB became a nursing student.
