Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Development of Corporate Culture, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: "The National Forum "Culture with Enterprises" in 2025 will take place on December 22."
This is an important event to concretize the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on building Vietnamese culture and people; at the same time, exploiting cultural potential and resources to serve the goal of sustainable national development.
This year's Forum is also an opportunity for the Association to deploy the "Quad Pillars" of policies, including: Resolution 57 of the Politburo on promoting science, technology and innovation; Resolution 59 on proactively integrating deeply into the international community; Resolution 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement; Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.
In particular, the Vietnam Business Culture Criteria 2025 will be an important basis for selecting and honoring businesses that meet business culture standards this year.
Unlike the 2024 version with 33 criteria, the 2025 Criteria are restructured into 5 groups, each group has 5 criteria (total of 25 criteria). The highlight is the addition of national identity factors combined with global values such as ISO 26000, ESG, DEI and cultural diffusion.
Mr. Ho Anh Tuan emphasized: "Using Vietnamese cultural values such as "Honesty, loyalty, thrift, integrity, impartiality" as the foundation, while integrating international standards, is a "soft power" strategy to enhance the reputation of the national brand in the international arena."
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan, Executive Committee Member of the Vietnam Association for the Development of Corporate Culture, said: “This year's Criteria adds additional prohibitions such as “commercial fraud, false advertising” and “environmental destruction”.
This is a step forward that reflects the realities and emerging ethical issues in business.”
The inclusion of “false advertising” as a ban demonstrates a commitment to transparency and consumer protection. Meanwhile, the elevation of “environmental destruction” as a prerequisite demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable development.
Enterprises honored with the title "Meeting Vietnamese Business Culture Standards" not only affirm their reputation and brand but are also recognized by the Government , ministries, departments, branches, business community and society.
According to Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, "This title contributes to enhancing prestige, attracting high-quality human resources, opening up many opportunities for cooperation, investment, and sustainable development in the context of deep international integration."
This is the fifth consecutive year the selection program has been held (from 2021 - 2025), affirming the spread of the movement to build a standard business culture in the Vietnamese business community at home and abroad.
The ceremony to honor and award certificates to Enterprises meeting Vietnamese Business Culture Standards 2025 will be held within the framework of the 5th National Forum "Culture with Enterprises", scheduled to take place in mid-December.
This event aims to honor pioneering businesses and contribute to spreading positive cultural values, encouraging the business community to join hands in building a civilized, transparent and sustainable business environment.
This title also contributes to enhancing prestige and brand, attracting high-quality human resources and opening up many opportunities for cooperation, investment and sustainable development in the context of deep international integration.
