Accordingly, the working delegation conducted a field survey and discussed the A Roong - Xa-du opening and the contents to facilitate the movement of people, vehicles and goods through the Ta Rung - La-co secondary border gate as well as the A Roong - Xa-du opening after it is opened between the two provinces of Quang Tri and Sa-van-na-khet to support and facilitate the partners of the two countries in implementing the AMI Savannakhet Wind Power Plant project.
After surveying and working, the two sides agreed to propose to the competent authorities of each side to submit to the Government for approval the contents to facilitate the implementation of the AMI Savannakhet Wind Power Plant project. Specifically, allowing workers of the two countries and third-country nationals involved in the implementation and operation of the AMI Savannakhet Wind Power Plant Project to enter and exit through the A Roong - Xadu opening and the Ta Rung - La-co secondary border gate; allowing goods, means of transport, etc. to serve the implementation of the wind power plant project; allowing investors to upgrade and renovate the traffic route through the opening and secondary gate above to serve the construction of the plant project.
At the same time, it is recommended that the competent authorities of each side propose to the Governments of the two countries to approve the policy to allow the construction and installation of 220KV (or 500KV) power transmission lines, 22KV backup power supply lines and internet transmission lines to serve the operation of the AMI Savanakhet Wind Power Plant./.
