The name “#VN1945” is inspired by the way parcels are placed and also the time when the August Revolution succeeded, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. “Each song from “#VN1945” is completed by OPlus with all the enthusiasm, passionate patriotism and modern spirit of a generation ready to continue the long-standing cultural values ​​of the nation. The revolutionary music project “#VN1945” includes 7 songs, including 5 famous songs, loved by many generations of music lovers and 2 new songs composed by OPlus members themselves. The first song is “Doan Ve Quoc Quan” (Phan Huynh Dieu), then “Tieng pestle tren soc Bom Bo” (Xuan Hong), “Tinh ca” (Hoang Viet), “Noi dao xa” (The Song), “Bai ca Ho Chi Minh ” (Ewan MacColl, Vietnamese lyrics by musician Phu An); two songs composed by the group are “Nhung chien binh Lac Hong” and “Nguoi la anh sang”.

The four boys with their high and low voices blend together, along with their technical handling, attracting listeners through these 7 songs. That is the majestic and proud “Ho Chi Minh Song” or the soulful and emotional melodies of “Faraway Island” about the marine soldiers… The two songs composed by the group, in addition to the meaningful lyrics, also have catchy melodies. In particular, the song “National Guard” is sung in a very new and impressive acapella style, creating a highlight. With modern arrangements and singing styles, the group has conveyed the feelings of today’s young generation about the proud melodies of their fathers and brothers.

The OPlus group shared that the project “#VN1945” will have a starting point but no end point. The group will extend and expand this project as a way to spread the revolutionary traditional music heritage to not only the audience but also young artists and cultural workers. “#VN1945” will also be like a connecting thread between the generations of fathers and grandfathers who experienced the bombs and bullets of war, the generation born after the country's reunification and today's youth. That idea is implemented by OPlus not only through songs but also in form, each song is designed according to the idea of ​​a postage stamp, taking the milestone from 1945. “When opening the album, the audience feels like they are opening a letter with a postmark from 1945 - a message from the past to the present”, singer Quang Minh, leader of the OPlus group, shared.
