A Blackpink hit surpassed 1.3 billion views

South Korean girl group Blackpink's music video for "How You Like That" surpassed 1.3 billion views on YouTube, becoming the group's sixth music video to surpass 1.3 billion views on the platform.

"How You Like That" became a hit of 2020 when it won the "Song of the Summer" award at the MTV Video Music Awards held in the US that same year. The music video also topped YouTube's list of "Top Summer Songs Worldwide" in 2020.

YG Entertainment - the group's management company - said the music video reached the milestone at 6:22 a.m. on September 21, 4 years and 3 months after it was uploaded to YouTube in June 2020.

“How You Like That” is a hip hop song with attractive and unique sounds, especially representing Blackpink’s musical color. The lyrics convey a strong message, encouraging listeners to overcome all challenges and pursue their dreams.

In addition to the above achievement, "How You Like That" also climbed to number 33 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Blackpink is expected to launch a new world tour next year.
