Speaking at the Festival, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung emphasized the special significance of the Great Unity Festival in fostering the tradition of solidarity, connecting cadres with the people, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc; at the same time, praising the efforts of Da Le residential group in the past year in maintaining cultural movements, protecting the environment, caring for poor households, promoting education, as well as the spirit of mutual love in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The Foreign Minister pointed out that Da Le residential group has a rich cultural and historical tradition. In particular, Da Le communal house is a valuable architectural and artistic relic, preserving many precious artifacts and is a space for cultural and religious activities closely associated with the community life of Da Le people through the ages. Preserving and embellishing the communal house and traditional festival activities is to contribute to preserving cultural identity and fostering great solidarity at the grassroots level.

"In the context that the whole country is entering a new phase with many important innovations, we must cherish, preserve and promote the strength of great solidarity. In 2025, together with the entire Party, people and army, we have carried out many important tasks, including arranging and perfecting the administrative apparatus, implementing the two-level local government model - a step to streamline the apparatus, improve management effectiveness and efficiency, and at the same time more closely connect the government with the people at the grassroots level," Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung emphasized.

In that context, according to him, the role of the Fatherland Front and the Front Working Committee in residential areas becomes even more important. This is the bridge between the people and the government, a place to listen to and reflect their thoughts and aspirations, care for their lives and promote their mastery.

Expressing his admiration for the sense of responsibility and loyalty of Da Le people in responding to the recent natural disaster, in which the Da Le People's Front Working Committee directly mobilized and supported people to overcome the consequences, clean up, and prevent epidemics after the flood, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung said that these practical actions are a vivid manifestation of the tradition of "helping each other" and the spirit of great national unity.

On this occasion, Minister Le Hoai Trung presented gifts to support disadvantaged households; many outstanding groups and individuals were recognized and rewarded. The festival also approved village conventions and regulations, organized discussions, launched emulation movements and implemented community building goals for 2026.

The Minister also expressed his hope that Da Le residential group would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, care for people's lives, strengthen cultural preservation, build a bright - green - clean - beautiful residential area, and contribute to the development of Vy Da ward and Hue city in the new period.

Responding to the call of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a fundraising campaign to support people in provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage from recent storms and floods to all officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry and the Vietnamese community abroad (through our diplomatic missions abroad).

According to the statistical reports of the Party committees at home and abroad, the total amount of donations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the overseas Vietnamese community that has been transferred to the accounts of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the donation campaign is 23,914,127,102 VND (Twenty-three billion nine hundred and fourteen million one hundred and twenty-seven thousand one hundred and two dong). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front 12 billion VND to the people in the northern provinces that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 10 (Bualoi); and the amount of 11.9 billion VND will be transferred by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the people in the central provinces that have just suffered heavy damage from storms and floods.
