Helena is 20 years old and is a professional model in her home country. Before competing at Miss Universe 2025, she represented Iceland at Miss Supranational 2024 and made it to the Top 25.

At The Universe Ceremony in Bangkok, Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil made a surprise appearance and publicly apologized on stage after a series of recent controversies: “First of all, I apologize for the sensitive things that happened.
