At the program, 120 members and youths of the high school stationed in Chau Phu district experienced the military environment, such as: Visiting Regiment 892, learning about the traditions and training and living environment of the unit; learning military manners and skills: arranging internal affairs, folding blankets according to regulations; practicing hanging tanks and hammocks; experiencing disassembling and assembling AK submachine guns; experiencing collective meals according to military regulations.

Huynh Anh (10th grade student at Thanh My Tay High School) shared: “One of the things I like most in the series of activities is the experience of disassembling and assembling AK submachine guns. We have learned about it in national defenseeducation . But the difference is that we get to practice on “100% real” guns - equipment that a soldier has throughout his military service, contributing to protecting his homeland.”

Chau Phu District Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Quoc Trung said that the activity "A day as a soldier" aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The practical experience activity contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and sense of responsibility of young people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, it creates an environment for union members and young people to practice and experience the military environment, improve their sense of organization and discipline, collective spirit and individual courage...
