Two traffic accidents occurred on Highway 9 in one day, killing a woman.

This afternoon, June 3, information from the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that just today on National Highway 9, there were 2 traffic accidents that caused one woman to die on the spot.

Specifically, at around 11:00 a.m. the same day, Ms. HTH (born in 1993) was driving a motorbike without a license plate carrying Ms. HTT (born in 1979), both residing in Tang Co Hang village, Lia commune (Huong Hoa district) on National Highway 9. When reaching km 72+450 through Lang Vay, Tan Long commune (Huong Hoa district), there was a collision with a truck with license plate 74C-060.xx driven by Mr. NVM (born in 1991), residing in Dong Luong ward (Dong Ha city) in the same direction. The collision caused Ms. HTT to die on the spot, Ms. HTH was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room.

Previously, at around 5:00 a.m. the same day, at km 14+350 of National Highway 9, in Tan Trang village, Cam Thanh commune (Cam Lo district), a traffic accident also occurred. At that time, a motorbike with license plate 74AD - 066.26 was driven by a woman (identity not yet verified) traveling from Dong Ha city to Lao Bao.

Arriving at the above location, they collided with a cow roaming on the road. As a result, the woman riding the motorbike was injured and had to be taken to the emergency room, and the motorbike was damaged. After receiving the information, the local authorities where the accident occurred were present at the scene, coordinating with the traffic police to direct traffic, investigate and clarify the cause.
