Recommendation to follow for ACV stock

According to DSC Securities Company, in the first 6 months of 2024, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) recorded net revenue of VND 11,178 billion (up 16% over the same period last year), pre-tax profit of VND 7,628 billion (up 45%); completing 55% and 81% of the annual business plan, respectively.

ACV's growth momentum in the second half of 2024 will come from the number of international visitors to Vietnam maintaining strong growth momentum; the number of domestic customers will recover as the issues leading to high ticket prices are gradually resolved.

Using the P/E valuation method, DSC gives a follow-up recommendation for ACV shares with a target price of VND120,000/share in 2024, equivalent to a projected P/E of 20.7 times.

Buy recommendation for REE stock

BIDV Securities Company (BSC) upgraded its recommendation from hold to buy for REE shares of Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation, with a target price of VND76,900/share in 2025 (upside 17% compared to the closing price on September 24, including a 1.7% dividend yield) based on the SoTP partial valuation method.

BSC adjusted the target price up to VND76,900/share from VND70,600/share, up 9% compared to the previous report mainly due to: Energy segment valuation increased by 7% thanks to the addition of Duyen Hai wind power project and Tra Khuc 2 hydropower project with values ​​of VND119 billion and VND370 billion 2; Office leasing segment valuation increased by 3% thanks to the addition of VND306 billion in book value of Phu Huu project.

Forecast 2024: Revenue reaches VND9,122 billion (6% growth), mainly from: Office segment increases by 16% with average rental price increasing by 2.5% compared to the same period last year and Etown 6 is 60% occupied in the first year; Energy segment decreases by 8% with hydropower group decreasing average selling price from 10% to 15% compared to the same period last year; Interest expense decreases by 26% thanks to the cooling interest rate environment and reduced debt. Profit after tax - minority shareholders reaches VND2,298 billion (5% growth).

Forecast for 2025: Revenue reaches VND 10,554 billion (16% growth), mainly from: M&E segment increases by 37% thanks to the launch of Long Thanh airport project and the warming up of the real estate market; Energy segment increases by 10% thanks to: hydropower group's Qc ratio is reduced from 95 - 98% to 85 - 90%, hydropower output increases by 8% due to La Nina's influence; Interest expense decreases by 16% thanks to reduced debt. Profit after tax - minority shareholders reaches VND 3,085 billion (34% growth).

Buy recommendation for VDS stock

Vietcombank Securities Company (VCBS) recommends buying shares of Rong Viet Securities Company (VDS) with a target price of VND 22,750/share based on the following technical analysis: The stock price is in an accumulation trend, creating a short-term price base in the range of VND 19,500 - 22,000/share since the beginning of August.
