A city in Vietnam is among the world's most affordable nightlife destinations.

Places like Berlin, Buenos Aires and Las Vegas are all famous for their vibrant nightlife, but the high prices don't always appeal to every traveller. That's why the world 's leading US tour operator Ski Vertigo conducted a survey to find out where nightlife won't put off visitors.

Ski Vertigo used a fun metric to analyze the cost of three beers, a 5km taxi ride and a quick meal across 183 major cities to see which ones are the most budget-friendly for a night out.

First up is Guangzhou, China’s major commercial city, home to a wealth of bars, clubs and cruise ship parties. Three beers, a taxi ride and a fast food meal will set you back just €8.52. China has three destinations in the top 10 cheapest cities at night, with Shenzhen and Beijing.

India also has attractive nightlife prices. Gurgaon, a city southwest of New Delhi, comes in second place at €9.44, Coimbatore is fourth and Kolkata is fifth. In third place is Alexandria in Egypt, with a spend of €9.53.

Ho Chi Minh City ranked sixth with an average of 10.04 euros (about 260,000 VND) spent on a night out. The nightlife in Ho Chi Minh City is described by tourists as having many options for all budgets, from expensive rooftop bars, cruises on the Saigon River to bustling cheap sidewalk restaurants and many night streets that are fun until late at night...
