Reaching the finish line from scratch

Coming from a poor family, he spent his childhood struggling with his parents to make ends meet. He used to be a waiter in restaurants, struggling to save every penny to go to university. In the mind of an 18-year-old boy at that time, he realized that studying was the fastest way to help him achieve success.

With that determination, he passed the entrance exam to the Hanoi National Economics University. During his university years, he studied and worked many different jobs to support his family. Understanding the hardship of earning every penny to make ends meet, he tried hard every day and made a big step forward at the age of 20.

The desire to achieve financial freedom soon, with a foundation of economic knowledge and a sharp mind, urged him to seek opportunities to increase his income by learning about stock investment. With that daring investment, he earned his first 50 million VND at the age of 20.

This amount of money may not be too much for an investor, but for a second-year student like him at that time, this was not a small number. And that was a big step for him to step into the investment field and was also the motivation that helped Mr. Phu Hung shape his development direction on the financial path to become an Investment Strategy Advisor like now.

Journey to the international investment market

Passionate and eager to learn more in the field of finance. After graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National Economics University in Hanoi , he decided to continue his Master's studies in Singapore.

Mr. Phu Hung shared: "At that time, it was a difficult decision for me to give up the available domestic opportunities, but it was also the right decision when I did not hesitate to seize the opportunity as soon as I realized the development potential because the Vietnamese investment market is still in its infancy, and there are not many foreign opportunities for investors like me."

In Singapore, he worked at GIC investment fund - Singapore's national investment fund, GIC is estimated to have assets of more than 700 billion USD and experience working at Temasek Holdings fund, an agency under the investment department of the Singapore Government with 100% capital owned by the Singapore Ministry of Finance , with a scale of about 300 billion USD from 2013-2017.

Mission to teach and nurture future investors

After a long time working and accumulating experience abroad, Mr. Phu Hung decided to return to Vietnam to develop. He realized that the strong development of the investment market, along with Vietnam's integration into the international market, would be a new opportunity for him to exploit his capacity. Moreover, he always urged to contribute to the investment community in Vietnam.

In 2017, Mr. Phu Hung returned to Vietnam and focused on investment consulting and teaching. He is the investor with the highest profit rate for 5 consecutive years of the Vietnam Investment Community.

After 7 years as a speaker and financial investment advisor, he has built many investment communities and does not hesitate to share his knowledge and experience from basic theory to his own hard-won practical lessons.

His journey of teaching and developing the community has brought about impressive numbers: more than 5000+ investors, the number of monthly students is up to 500 students, more than 100+ community groups and 500+ free classes organized.
