Mu Cang Chai: Many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2

In the joyful and excited atmosphere of the whole country towards the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945 - 2025), these days, the Party Committee, government and people of Mu Cang Chai commune are preparing to organize many meaningful activities to review the heroic history of the nation, arouse patriotism and national pride, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

Since the beginning of August 2025, Mu Cang Chai commune has issued a plan to organize tourism activities "Golden Season Festival 2025" to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience the beauty of this land in the ripe rice season.

Activities include: Art performances; panpipe dancing competition; costume competition; exploring the brilliant yellow terraced fields - the symbol of the Northwest highlands; experiencing using beeswax to create patterns on fabric; pounding sticky rice cakes with the locals; displaying art photos, local products, highland cuisine and organizing folk dance activities every Saturday and many other special activities.

In particular, at 8:20 p.m. on August 30, 2025, at the small campus of Mu Cang Chai commune, there will be an Art Program with the theme "The golden color of the high mountains - The echo of the motherland" with singing, dancing and music performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the renewed country performed by over 100 actors who are youth union members, students and members of the commune's volunteer art troupe.

Currently, artisans and mass actors in the commune are actively and enthusiastically practicing and staging dance and music performances according to each content with the hope of bringing a meaningful art program, creating a heroic, joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people.

Along with the above activities, Mu Cang Chai commune will organize competitions in traditional sports such as: Tug of war; stick pushing; crossbow shooting; spinning top and folk games: Con throwing, Pao throwing, blindfolded drumming, blindfolded duck catching; stilt walking and sack jumping...

On this occasion, Mu Cang Chai commune will organize activities to show gratitude and appreciation to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions that the commune has paid attention to. Representatives of the Party Committee and government will organize delegations to visit and give gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, thereby demonstrating the nation's tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking".
