Yoro injured before Europa League final.

In the 52nd minute at Old Trafford, Yoro was forced to leave the field with a sad face. The TV camera captured the scene of coach Ruben Amorim bowing his head in disappointment. The injury caused coach Amorim an additional headache because the Europa League final against Tottenham was only 10 days away.

"We will have to reassess Leny's situation tomorrow," coach Amorim said after the match. "He felt pain but I think it could be a minor injury. Hopefully it's not too serious."

The Frenchman missed the first four months of the season with an ankle injury sustained on the US tour, but has been consistent since returning, scoring in the Europa League quarter-final against Lyon and setting up Mason Mount's equaliser in the semi-final second leg against Athletic Bilbao.

In fact, MU has suffered a series of injuries this season. They will be without Joshua Zirkzee and Lisandro Martinez for the rest of the season, while Matthijs de Ligt, Diogo Dalot and Ayden Heaven are still out.

On the evening of May 11, Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen scored to help West Ham win their first victory over MU at Old Trafford in 18 years. This was the "Red Devils'" 17th defeat, including 9 losses at home. After 36 rounds, MU fell to 16th place.

"Looking at the goals we conceded, they were clearly avoidable," Amorim added. "There was a lack of energy, a lack of urgency. I am responsible for that. For me, winning the Europa League is not as important as the bigger problems the team is facing."
