School supplies shopping is starting to heat up.

Currently, the shopping atmosphere at bookstores and stationery stores has become bustling. Many stores sell a variety of designs from traditional to modern with eye-catching colors and patterns, suitable for the tastes of students of many ages (photo).

According to Mr. Pham Chi Man - Deputy Director of Vinh Long Book and Equipment Joint Stock Company, to serve the 2025-2026 school year, the unit has prepared more than 2.5 million copies of textbooks, supplementary books and English books; by the first half of July, about 1.8 million copies had been published (70% of the plan). The price of textbooks this year has decreased by an average of 5-10% compared to last year, with the grade 1 set (Canh Dieu) alone decreasing by 44,000 VND/set, equivalent to 22%.

This year, the market for school supplies has seen many new designs and stable prices. Many units have launched promotions to reduce prices of some school supplies and notebooks to help parents reduce financial pressure at the beginning of the school year. It is expected that purchasing power will increase sharply in the time leading up to the start of the new school year.
