Through observation in Quang Ngai city, from about 6:50 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., heavy rain continued without stopping, leading to localized flooding in many areas.
On the same morning, speaking with Dan Viet reporter, Director of Quang Ngai Province Hydrometeorological Station Nham Xuan Sy said that since early this morning, there has been very heavy rain in many areas of the province.

Notably, in some areas in Mo Duc, Tra Bong, Nghia Hanh districts, the rainfall was over 100mm. Specifically, at Duc Phu, Hoc Sam lake, Hoc Xoai lake, Mo Duc district, the rainfall was about 102-110mm; although the rainfall in many other areas was less, it also fluctuated from 80-100mm.

It is forecasted that today and tomorrow (October 22), in Quang Ngai, there is a possibility of heavy and prolonged rain, so people, especially in mountainous areas, need to be on guard against landslides, flash floods and flooding in low-lying areas, warned Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Hydrometeorological Station Nham Xuan Sy.
