On January 28 (ie 29th of Tet), Miss Thanh Thuy visited and gave gifts to patients in the dialysis ward in her hometown of Da Nang. Sharing with Dan Viet , the reigning Miss International 2024 said: "I think the most precious thing every time Tet comes is to reunite and gather with family. However, not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy those precious moments...

So, the first thing I want to do when I return to my hometown Da Nang with my family is to bring the warm atmosphere of Tet to the patients undergoing dialysis. Even though we are just strangers and the gifts I bring are just small joys and Tet gifts, I hope that you will feel the warmth and meaning of this Tet season in a more positive way.

I hope that these things will help you have more spirit to overcome the pain and loneliness during Tet holidays away from home."

This is not the first time Miss Thanh Thuy has given gifts to people in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025. Previously, she gave water purifiers and 100 gifts to poor households in Long Dien Tay commune, Bac Lieu province.

According to the beauty from Da Nang, this is the second water purifier, continuing the "Clean Water" project that she has cherished since participating in the Miss International contest. "Through the project, I understand more clearly the situation of households that are directly affected by drought and saltwater intrusion. From there, I have more motivation to maintain the project, hoping to have more cooperation to share some of the difficulties that people in the Mekong Delta are facing."

If I keep suppressing my emotions and youthfulness with pressure, I think I cannot do well. Those pressures are also the motivation for me to improve and develop more.

With the mission of a Miss International, I think I will contribute to creating values in the future, at the same time creating values for myself and my family, so I enjoy those things."

Miss Thanh Thuy (full name Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy) is 1.75 m tall and has sexy measurements of 81-63-94 cm. She is a student of the English Language Department, University of Foreign Languages - University of Da Nang. Before participating in the Miss Vietnam 2022 contest, Thanh Thuy was Miss University of Foreign Languages (University of Da Nang), 1st runner-up of Talented - Elegant students (Da Nang) and won second prize in the City-level Literature competition in 2016, Silver medal in the Youth Fashion contest at the Spring Flower Festival of Da Nang City in 2019.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy is one of 36 students who have the opportunity to exchange students at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.

At the moment her name was announced as the first Vietnamese representative to win the Miss International 2024 crown, Thanh Thuy emotionally expressed: "I am the first Miss Vietnam to come to Miss International and now, I am the first Miss International from Vietnam. Finally, I have been able to prove that I deserve all the love and support of the audience, fans in Vietnam and around the world. Thank you very much!".
