My Oanh is a brilliant "copy" of famous singer Ngoc Lan

Contestant My Oanh surprised the judges because her voice was so similar to famous singer Ngoc Lan.

Recently, in the program Unexpected Transformation, contestant My Oanh transformed into famous singer Ngoc Lan through a foreign song with Vietnamese lyrics called Please Time to Stop Flowing. The special thing about contestant My Oanh compared to other contestants is that she has a voice that is almost like her idol Ngoc Lan.

Coming to the final solo night of the challenge round, My Oanh once again maintained her form when she “captured the hearts” of the judges and listeners with her clear and emotional voice. The judges even got “goosebumps” and could not take their eyes off My Oanh’s transformation.

Among them, judge My Le was surprised because the female contestant's voice sounded exactly like famous singer Ngoc Lan. The female judge said: "As soon as she started singing, everyone was startled. I thought it was the real Ngoc Lan singing. Famous singer Ngoc Lan is my idol so I sang a lot of her songs. I didn't expect there to be a little girl who sang exactly like famous singer Ngoc Lan."

Judge Doan Trang praised: “When you started singing, I got goosebumps. The word “by” in the first verse “Rửu hồng cập bún bé người” is very similar to the famous singer Ngoc Lan”.

As a judge throughout the show Unexpected Transformation, Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia could not help but admire: “I have been following this person for many weeks and feel that you have a very sensitive soul and a moving heart of an artist. So when you perform, it is not only about your voice but also about how you absorb the music and that is what is conveyed to the listeners. I imagine My Oanh finding a common beat with Ms. Ngoc Lan, so when you sing these songs, it is very emotional, just like the way Ms. Ngoc Lan used to perform. I really love Ms. Ngoc Lan's crystal clear voice, full of emotion and you are the one who can do that. Not only copying the color of the voice but also recreating the spirit of the famous singer Ngoc Lan on this stage in a complete way. Congratulations", judge Dai Nghia expressed.

In this episode, contestant My Oanh has a total of 29.50 points; contestant Trung Tin has a total of 28.75 points; contestant Lam Ngoc Trong has a total of 28.50 points. In the next competition night, the top 9 contestants of Unexpected Transformation will continue to challenge themselves through interesting trio combinations. Also in the next episode, the top 3 outstanding faces entering the final round of Unexpected Transformation will be revealed.
