The special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" is organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture , Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi People's Committee, and Vietnam Television. This activity aims to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

'Proud to be Vietnamese' attracts over 30,000 viewers.

The special art program opened with the song "Vietnam in My Heart Is ," performed by Duong Hoang Yen and Ha An Huy. On stage, the duet's vocals, combined with dancers in traditional ao dai dresses and conical hats, evoked a sense of pride in the audience. Below the stage, over 30,000 spectators sang along to the line, "With red blood and yellow skin, I am Vietnamese," as an affirmation that the nation has never faltered in the face of difficulties and challenges, and has always preserved its beautiful values ​​through generations.

Chapter I, titled "Origins - Calling Vietnam by its Name ," recounts the nation's journey of building and defending the country. In it, President Ho Chi Minh 's speech, replayed on stage, reads: "The Vietnamese nation has the right to enjoy freedom and independence, and in fact has become a free and independent nation. The entire Vietnamese people are determined to dedicate all their spirit and strength, lives and property to uphold that right to freedom and independence," deeply moving many in the audience.

Singer Tung Duong impressed the audience by wearing an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) printed with the red flag and yellow star, and singing the "Marching Song" in front of 30,000 spectators.

Chapter 3, "Proud to be Vietnamese," is a proud declaration from today's generation.
