Nearly 30 years ago, in the memory of Mrs. Lo Thi Hon, a resident of Tham San village, Xuan Duong commune, the distance was only 3km from the village center, but it was quite difficult and arduous. At that time, the road was only paved with gravel, with many sharp turns and steep slopes that forced her to get off the bike and walk. Now, every time the "Xuan Duong Love Market" Festival approaches, Mrs. Hon leisurely rides her motorbike to the stage area to see the preparations. The roads have been concreted, and the national grid lights up every alley - changes that she considers the most obvious and valuable after nearly three decades of re-establishing the province.

The development of Na Ri is not only reflected in visible changes such as roads and electricity, but is also demonstrated by impressive numbers. If in 1997, the total food output of the district was only over 11,000 tons, by 2024 it had reached over 34,000 tons, nearly three times higher. Average food per capita reached 820 kg/year, nearly 2.5 times higher than when the province was re-established. Budget revenue from about 2 billion VND has now increased to 35 billion VND by the end of 2024. In the period 2020-2024, the poverty rate in the district decreased by an average of more than 3.5% per year.

The district's socio-economic infrastructure has also been invested in a systematic manner, creating an important foundation for long-term development. In the 2021-2025 medium-term public investment plan, the district has disbursed 411.3/508.6 billion VND (reaching more than 80%), contributing to the construction, upgrading and maintenance of more than 680 works. Up to now, 100% of communes in the district have asphalted or concreted car roads to the commune center; more than 91% of villages and hamlets have hardened car roads and over 98% of households have stable access to the national grid.

Along with economic development, Na Ri district also focuses on strengthening the Party organization and political system. The Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the District Party Committee regularly innovate leadership methods, improve the quality of Party cell activities, and focus on reviewing and evaluating Party organizations and Party members. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style have been effectively implemented, contributing to promoting the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and Party members.

Witnessing the strong transformation of his hometown, Mr. Do Minh Hoa, a resident of Tan Lap village, Con Minh commune, proudly said: “Electricity, roads, schools, and stations are now spacious and clean. The lives of people in Con Minh in particular and Na Ri in general have been significantly improved. In particular, Con Minh is proud to be the only place in the province with a dong vermicelli craft village recognized in 2024.”
Not only Xuan Duong or Con Minh, but most of the communes and towns in Na Ri district today are wearing a new look - a dynamic Na Ri, changing every day. The comprehensive development in all fields is a testament to the right direction of the Party Committee and the district government over the past nearly three decades.
Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Na Ri District People's Committee said: "Looking back on the journey of nearly 30 years after the re-establishment of the province, we are proud of the achievements we have made. The economy has developed, culture and society have flourished, and people's lives have been increasingly improved. That is a solid foundation for the district to continue to make breakthroughs, contributing to the whole province and the whole country entering a new era of the nation"./.
