For the first year, the Techfest Startup Competition has prizes specifically for women.

The Program to Support Creative Women in Business Development is part of the TECHFEST 2024 National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition, which aims to search for, support and honor female startup and creative business owners who have made efforts to apply science , technology and creativity to solve business and social problems.

National playground for finding creative startup talents

The TECHFEST 2024 National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition is a program to search for, support and honor Vietnamese startups and creative businesses at home and abroad with efforts to apply science, technology and creativity to solve business and social problems.

The contest is expected to attract participation from provinces, localities, overseas Vietnamese networks, along with the private sector and international investment funds, contributing to the process of resource convergence and development of the national creative ecosystem.

TECHFEST is a playground to search for national creative startup talents.

The competition also hopes to provide Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses with connections to financial resources, development partners, knowledge sources and support from experts. Coming to the competition, businesses have the opportunity to receive attractive financial prizes and support packages with a total value of up to: 500,000 USD, have the opportunity to contact more than 100 domestic and international funds and investors throughout the competition rounds, be sponsored by the media, promoted by a network of more than 200 press agencies, and be accompanied, supported and enhanced by more than 40 organizations and 80 multi-disciplinary experts.

The final round is expected to be held in November 2024. During the 6-month period from May to November 2024, a series of training, connection, knowledge sharing, and application consultation programs will take place online on online platforms and directly in localities, jointly organized by the startup support community in localities across the country, the community of technology experts, large enterprises and investment funds, and the Vietnamese creative community abroad.

Honoring female entrepreneurs and innovators

SHE TECHFEST 2024 is a program to support creative women in business development within the framework of the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition TECHFEST 2024.

The program seeks, supports and honors Vietnamese female entrepreneurs and creative entrepreneurs with their efforts in applying science, technology and creativity to solve business and social problems. Participating in the program, the best female entrepreneur team will receive a separate award for the Creative Women Entrepreneurship Board.

The program also aims to promote female entrepreneurship, provide consulting and support for business development on digital platforms; connect female business owners and young female entrepreneurs with the ecosystem supporting creative startups; provide online training and coaching on business models, presentation skills for fundraising, and connect with experts, partners and investors to accompany the development of the competition team in the future.

The program targets female owners of small and micro enterprises, cooperatives, individual business households...; female owners of business units, business projects... who have innovative products/services/technology and women who are interested in starting a business/have a need to start a business/have startup ideas.

Coming to the program, in October-November 2024, female start-ups will participate in a series of training activities on business development on digital platforms, improving their ability to access appropriate capital sources. Then, there will be opportunities to participate in post-training support activities with the following contents: Screening 40 Enterprises/Projects to participate in the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition TECHFEST 2024; Training 40 selected participating Enterprises/Projects and displaying products at TECHFEST 2024.
