Grasp the implementation status of site clearance for key projects in the province.

People of Noong Luong commune, Dien Bien district expressed their opinions at the working session with the delegation.

In recent times, the site clearance work for projects in the province has achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province. However, there are still many works and projects facing difficulties in site clearance, especially in Dien Bien Phu city and Dien Bien district.

Implementing the working program, on October 11, working group No. 2 led by Comrade Vi Thi Huong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, along with members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Inspectorate, worked in Thanh Chan and Noong Luong communes (Dien Bien district).

During the working sessions, the delegation listened to many opinions, recommendations and proposals from the people. Accordingly, the people basically agreed with the policy of implementing the projects. However, there were still points of disagreement regarding compensation and site clearance.

After listening to the opinions, recommendations and proposals of the people, representatives of Dien Bien District People's Committee, Dien Bien District Land Fund Development Center, and Commune People's Committees, based on their functions and tasks, responded and explained directly to the people and the working group. The working group also accepted some contents to continue researching and submitting to competent authorities for consideration and settlement, in a spirit of compliance with the law and ensuring optimal benefits for households in the clearance area. After working at the headquarters of the Commune People's Committees, Working Group No. 2 went to some households to survey and grasp the situation.

According to the working program, on October 14-15, working group No. 2 continued to work in Thanh Hung and Thanh Xuong communes (Dien Bien district).
