Comrade Ha Thi Ngan, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Kan Newspaper, spoke at the working session with Thai Nguyen Newspaper.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed on many important contents about journalism operations in the context of multi-platform convergence, especially the technical preparation for integrating 4 types of journalism (print, electronic, television, radio) on converged editorial management software. The issue of processing and integrating the old databases of the two newspapers and agreeing on the proposed format of the printed newspaper after the merger were also thoroughly discussed.

The two agencies also discussed plans to coordinate in providing images for the photo exhibition serving the Provincial Party Congress; prepare to publish a photo book for the 2020-2025 period to welcome the Party Congress, ensuring the content structure reflects the characteristics of the two provinces. Regarding digital infrastructure, the two sides agreed on solutions to operate the electronic newspaper and CMS platforms, Fanpage, OA Zalo, Tiktok; move towards merging databases, running on the same domain name and server to protect data, saving costs of maintaining technical infrastructure.

Discussing issues of preparing special issues on the occasion of the province's merger, the 80th anniversary of the country's founding, Party Congresses at all levels, etc. In addition, the two agencies also discussed the needs and aspirations related to working headquarters, official housing, and travel support for tasks after the merger. The meeting ended with the agreement to issue a concluding notice, as a basis for implementing the next steps, ready for organizing press activities after the province's merger in the spirit of innovation, streamlining, and efficiency./.
