Snow White is a project produced by Walt Disney Studios inspired by the 1937 classic animated film, associated with the childhood of millions of viewers. The film follows Snow White, a beautiful princess who is hated by her stepmother and seeks to harm her. After escaping from the castle, she gets lost in the deep forest and makes friends with birds, wild animals and seven dwarfs.
With the help of her special friends, Snow White gradually learns to stand up and bravely face her fears. She becomes the leader of the kingdom's people, in the uprising against the tyranny of the cruel and brutal Queen.

Compared to the familiar story that has been imprinted in the audience's mind, Snow White under the hands of the director duo Erin Cressida Wilson and Greta Gerwig has a big difference compared to previous versions. Now, Snow White, in addition to being kind and benevolent, is no longer fragile and weak. Instead, the princess becomes a symbol of strength, courage and fearlessness, just as her father taught her.
Rachel Zegler - the actress who plays Snow White - once shared: "She will not be saved by the Prince and she does not dream of true love. Her goal is to become a leader, which she knows she can do."

Rachel Zegler is promised to bring a completely new spirit to the fairy tale character that is associated with the childhood of millions of viewers around the world . Before becoming the new princess of the "Mouse House", the 23-year-old star made her mark in West Side Story (2021), Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) or most recently Y2K (2024)...
In addition to her lovely, sharp and attractive face, the beauty born in 2001 also possesses a clear, high-pitched and powerful voice - the "weapon" that helps her conquer the hearts of the audience. This strength is also brought by Rachel Zegler to Snow White, when many famous songs, notably Whistle While You Work, will be personally performed by the Gen Z girl.

Meanwhile, the character of the Evil Queen - the evil queen was also completely renewed by the "Mouse House". In the original 1937 version, the Evil Queen was built as an evil character, jealous of Snow White's beauty and willing to do anything to eliminate the innocent princess.
Disney's next bold move was to invite Gal Gadot to play the legendary Evil Queen in Snow White . Previously, the Israeli star had made a strong impression as Wonder Woman, a symbol of justice and courage. Switching to a villainous role, she was given the opportunity to show her versatility and versatility in acting.
Sharing about her experience playing the Evil Queen, Gal Gadot said: "This is my first time playing a villain. It's been fun exploring this aspect and bringing a new perspective to the classic character."

In terms of production, to create a world that is both familiar and new, the production team chose to film in many real locations around the world. From the lush green forests of the foggy land of England, to the ancient, dreamy villages in Germany. In addition, many scenes of Snow White were also filmed at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire, which has created many spectacular scenes for famous blockbusters such as Harry Potter or the James Bond series.
One of the key elements that makes Snow White such a satisfying cinematic experience is the combination of visual effects (VFX) and real-life settings. The creative team spent a lot of time researching how to recreate the fairy tale world in a vivid, realistic way while still maintaining the magical quality that is typical of Disney.
The seven dwarfs, the iconic characters of Snow White , were also created entirely using CGI technology, using motion capture techniques. Post-production was handled by a team of experts from MPC and Framestore, the companies behind blockbusters such as The Jungle Book and The Lion King . One of the biggest challenges for the post-production team was ensuring that the characters had natural expressions and interacted smoothly with the real actors.

Snow White (Vietnamese title: Snow White) opens on March 21 in theaters nationwide.
