On June 25, the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) issued Document No. 284/HDTS-VP1 to the Executive Boards of the VBS in provinces, cities, pagodas and monasteries nationwide, regarding the 3 ringing of bells and drums to pray for national peace and prosperity on the morning of July 1.

July 1st is the first day that localities across the country officially operate the two-level local government model after the reorganization. This is an important milestone in the development and integration process, marking the nation's transformation towards a prosperous and prosperous future.

In response to this historic event, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council calls on all monks and nuns in monasteries to simultaneously ring the bell three times, chant sutras, and perform a peace-praying ceremony at 6 a.m. on July 1. The ceremony aims to arouse the strength of national unity, good spirituality, and pray for national peace and prosperity.

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha wishes all monks to seriously disseminate and organize the solemn and meaningful performance of the ritual in localities.
