Women's union members and officials participate in training courses on digital transformation and information technology application.
Regarding the breakthrough "Supporting women to improve their capacity, apply IT, access digital government, digital economy , digital society", the Provincial Women's Union determined: Access to the utilities of digital transformation (DT) will help women be more confident with IT as well as have more opportunities to develop. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has directed all levels of the union to actively deploy and apply IT in union activities, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
One of the effective IT applications of the Provincial Women's Union in recent times is the deployment of software for managing cadres and members to all levels of the union. Up to now, 100% of the union bases use software for managing cadres and members; data on members in the province is fully updated, helping to manage members accurately and scientifically . Along with that, the Provincial Women's Union has done a good job of exploiting directive documents, operating and exchanging information on the electronic document system of the Provincial People's Committee; all levels of the union send and receive documents on the network environment. Thereby, the union's activities are deployed quickly and promptly.
To date, more than 200,000 women have been trained in knowledge of digital transformation, IT application, and safe use of social networks; 100% of full-time staff at all three levels of the union have been trained and are proficient in using basic software in union work; 100% of the Women's Union at all levels have fanpages and zalo groups to propagate, mobilize, and guide cadres, women's union members and relatives to install and use the VNeID application, activate electronic identification accounts, and perform online public services in the province...
The most obvious change in digital transformation in association activities is that the Provincial Women's Union has actively directed all levels of the union to promote the application of IT to support women in implementing the Project "Supporting Women to Start a Business in the 2017-2025 period" (called Project 939) in an increasingly diverse and effective manner. That is, organizing online business training courses, participating in channels and business groups on social networks; providing guidance and support for the application of digital platforms and technology to promote and introduce products, participate in e-commerce platforms and electronic payments... Up to now, the whole province has had more than 7,200 women in the province supported in starting a business; more than 1,000 female enterprises, 156 collective economic models have been established; thousands of products of members and women have been introduced in cyberspace.
The implementation of digital transformation has helped cadres, members and organizations of the association to actively contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the province. In 2024, implementing the theme of the year "Strengthening the application of IT in association activities", the Provincial Women's Union launched a response to the Central Union's contest "Application of IT in organizing association activities"; implementing the motto "Paperless conferences" and scanning QR codes to receive conference and seminar documents...; regularly posting and sharing information on zalo groups, fanpages, and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union Electronic Information Portal to further improve the quality of information and propaganda work of the association... In 2025, the Provincial Women's Union continued to promote digital transformation, launched the movement "Digital literacy" and directed all levels of the association to build appropriate models to effectively implement the movement.
Regarding the breakthrough stage of "Accompanying in building strong women's branches and groups", with the motto of directing union activities to the grassroots level, improving the efficiency and quality of emulation movements, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has directed all levels of the union to effectively implement the model "1+1" (1 good branch accompanies 1 weak branch; 1 member mobilizes 1 woman to participate in the union organization; 1 strong branch helps 1 weak branch or 1 member with conditions supports 1 member in difficult circumstances...) and "3 have, 3 know" (having pioneer members, having monthly activities, having resources to organize activities; knowing the faces, knowing the circumstances, knowing the needs of members); Regularly attend branch and group meetings, grasp the circumstances, thoughts, aspirations and issues that need to be resolved for female members such as employment, economic development, health, gender equality, etc. In that spirit, the Provincial Women's Union has launched the "Thanh Hoa Province Women Intellectuals" club; built 61 models of gathering women in the form of groups on the social network Facebook; maintained and established more than 100 "Female Workers in Residential Areas" clubs; maintained and improved the quality of activities of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs, the "Women Entrepreneurs" club, and cultural and sports models that attract a large number of women to participate.
Diversifying the forms of activities from branches and groups has helped the association attract more members to participate in activities, contribute more to the movement, association activities and carry out the political tasks of the locality. In 2024, the whole province attracted 9,658 women members, of which 1,855 were newly admitted as honorary members, bringing the total number in the whole province to 849,899 members; fostering professional skills in association work and social knowledge for nearly 5,000 association officials; associations at all levels have helped nearly 2,900 women escape poverty and near-poverty (exceeding the target of 41 households); supporting the establishment of 6 cooperatives (exceeding the target of 4 cooperatives), 7 cooperative groups, 15 joint groups, 175 women's enterprises (exceeding 125 enterprises).
