Improving the effectiveness of Party inspection, supervision and discipline work in Ha Tinh Police

The effective implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work contributes to building a clean and strong Ha Tinh police force, successfully fulfilling the task of ensuring social order and safety in the area.

The Provincial Police Party Executive Committee held a conference to discuss and issue a Resolution on the inspection and supervision work of the Party Committee.

The Ha Tinh Police Party Committee has 19 Party cells and 7 grassroots Party committees, 13 district-level police party committees and 216 commune, ward and town police party committees with more than 1,300 Party members. Determining that the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work plays an important role and needs to be implemented effectively right from the grassroots level, in recent times, the Provincial Police Party Committee has directed, organized and strictly implemented the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee on the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

The Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee have proactively issued many resolutions, regulations, statutes, programs and plans to lead, direct and organize the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

The Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work has contributed to helping Ha Tinh Police perform well their political tasks and effectively fight against all types of crimes in the area.

Colonel Pham Thanh Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee said: Due to the characteristics of the armed forces, the team of cadres doing Party inspection work at Party cells, Party Committees, and Inspection Committees in the Provincial Police Party Committee mainly work part-time, and lack experience and practical expertise, so they are quite confused in implementing the procedures and records of inspection, supervision and discipline of the Party. This is one of the reasons affecting the quality and effectiveness of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

In order to overcome limitations and gradually improve awareness, responsibility and expertise for Party committees, Inspection Committees and cadres working in Party inspection, the Provincial Police Party Committee has promoted propaganda and guidance on inspection and supervision work within the Party and identified this as an important task that needs to be focused on and implemented well.

Ha Tinh Provincial Police held a ceremony to report to workers to celebrate 75 years of studying and practicing the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Police.

Every year, 100% of grassroots Party cells in the Provincial Police Party Committee have organized political activities to strictly implement regulations and comply with Party discipline and order. Information and propaganda work on inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline is widely disseminated through the unit's electronic information portal, the fanpage of the Provincial Police Inspection Commission and central and local newspapers.

Officers of the Provincial Police Inspection Commission, according to their assigned areas, regularly provide specific guidance on procedures and documents to Party committees and Party cells when performing the tasks of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline.

Professional training for cadres working in the Party is regularly organized. Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Police Party Committee has organized 5 training courses for nearly 1,000 comrades who are Party committee members and cadres working in the Party inspection work in the Provincial Police Party Committee.

In particular, in order to facilitate Party organizations in performing their tasks, in March 2023, the Provincial Police Party Committee directed the research, compilation and launch of the "Handbook on implementing Party inspection, supervision and discipline work in the Ha Tinh Police". The handbook has specified the procedures of the Party and the Central Inspection Commission so that Party committees, Inspection Commissions, grassroots Party cells, affiliated Party cells, and Party cells of communes, wards and towns can facilitate the process of researching and performing Party inspection, supervision and discipline tasks.

Thanks to good propaganda and professional guidance, the effectiveness of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement of the Party in the Ha Tinh Public Security Party Committee has been increasingly improved.

Recently, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Party Inspection Committee of the Provincial Police Department have conducted specialized inspections and supervisions of 42 party organizations and 61 party members, including 21 party secretaries. At the same time, the Party Committees, the Party Inspection Committees of the grassroots Party Committees and Party cells in the Provincial Police Department have conducted specialized inspections and supervisions of 221 party organizations and 379 party members.
