Improve the effectiveness of collecting people's satisfaction with new rural construction

Ms. Pham Thi My Linh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, discussed with people of Vinh Phu Dong weaving village about building Phuoc Long district to become an advanced new-style rural district.

On the afternoon of January 3, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province held a thematic conference on "Solutions to improve the effectiveness of organizing the collection of opinions on people's satisfaction with the results of building communes meeting advanced new rural standards, communes meeting model new rural standards and recognizing wards and towns meeting civilized urban standards" in the province.

By the end of 2024, the whole province will have 2/7 district-level units recognized as meeting NTM standards and completing the task of building NTM; 49/49 communes meeting NTM standards; 21 communes meeting advanced NTM standards; 08 communes meeting model NTM standards and 159 hamlets meeting model NTM standards; 12/15 wards and towns meeting urban civilization and urban culture. In 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have guided and appraised the organization of collecting opinions on people's satisfaction in 5 communes proposed for recognition as advanced NTM and model NTM...

At the conference, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes, wards, towns and the Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and Bac Lieu City shared good experiences, creative and effective ways to enhance the responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and member organizations of the Front in recognizing the results of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas in localities; organizing to collect opinions on people's satisfaction with the results of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

Speaking at the end of the conference, Ms. Pham Thi My Linh - Standing Vice President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that collecting opinions on people's satisfaction with the results of building communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural areas is an important activity, contributing to assessing the actual effectiveness of new-style rural construction programs. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels needs to pay more attention to propaganda work, raising people's awareness of the criteria of advanced new-style rural areas, model new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas. Thereby helping people better understand their rights and responsibilities, thereby proactively participating, contributing opinions and evaluating accurately and objectively.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to improve the method of organizing opinion collection, ensuring representation, transparency and efficiency. It is necessary to build a feedback mechanism to promptly resolve people's opinions, create trust and maintain the active participation of the community in the process of building new rural areas...
