Raising legal awareness on preventing and combating human trafficking for young people

On the morning of July 29, in Hue City, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Hue City Youth Union to organize the Golden Bell contest "Learning legal knowledge on preventing and combating human trafficking".

The contest attracted 100 contestants and nearly 300 supporters who are members and youth of Hue City Police; Hue City People's Committee Youth Union and grassroots youth organizations located in the city.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Golden Bell Contest “Learning about legal knowledge on preventing and combating human trafficking” was held to respond to the World Day against Human Trafficking and the National Day against Human Trafficking (July 30) with the theme “Human trafficking is an organized crime - Stop the exploitation”. Accordingly, contestants must go through 20 multiple choice questions to learn about the Law on Prevention and Combating Human Trafficking to have a chance to win.

The contestants were excited to participate in the contest.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded a special prize to contestant Tran Thi Lien, Hue City Police Youth Union, after she excellently answered the final question. At the same time, the Organizing Committee honored 5 excellent contestants including: Ton That Nhat Tan (member of Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city); Tran Ngoc Duyen Anh, Nguyen Thi Loc, Nguyen Phuoc Vinh Toan (members of My Thuong ward, Hue city); Dang Phuoc Bao (member of Duong No ward, Hue city).

Through the contest, the Organizing Committee hopes to promote propaganda, dissemination, education, and raise awareness of the law, knowledge, and skills to prevent and combat human trafficking for youth union members in Hue City; contributing to the effective implementation of solutions to prevent and combat human trafficking right from the grassroots level.
