Winter potato yield 2023

Thanks to proper care and technical processes, the average potato yield is from 18 to 20 tons/ha, some areas using processed potato varieties yield about 30 tons/ha. The total potato output of the whole province is about 25,000 tons.

Currently, in Thanh Hoa province, there are about 10 enterprises investing in production linkages and potato product consumption with local people and cooperatives. During the production linkage process, the investment companies advance seeds, fertilizers, transfer planting and care techniques to local people, and at the same time consume products for farmers through cooperatives for processing.
