"This is a real antidote to counter satellites and reconnaissance aircraft. It was created at the Steel Research Institute," Artyakov told Sputnik ahead of the Army-2023 International Military -Technical Forum.

Camouflage material reduces the visibility of tanks and other military equipment in the long-wave range. It helps tanks avoid detection by thermal imaging and radar equipment, and its variable color provides optical camouflage".

He added that “armored vehicle manufacturers have already received the first samples of “Nakidka” and he believes that tanks and infantry fighting vehicles will certainly be equipped with this camouflage in the future.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense as well as military reporters have repeatedly broadcast videos of T-90M Proryv tanks fighting in special operations areas with special camouflage Nakidka. This special camouflage is covered on armored vehicles as a cover.

The Army 2023 Forum is scheduled to be held at Patriot Park in Kubinka, a suburb of Moscow, from August 14-20 under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
