On November 27, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov issued a stern warning about Ukraine's use of US-made ATACMS long-range missiles to strike deep into Russian territory.

According to the Russian newspaper Pravda , in an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin, Lavrov stated clearly: "Patience is necessary, but if it is constantly tested, it will end."
This statement comes after President Vladimir Putin revealed last week that Ukraine used US ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles to attack the Kursk and Bryansk regions of Russia on November 19.
In response, on November 21, Russia successfully tested a new Oreshnik-class medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile, targeting a defense industrial complex in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk (Dnipro).
On the same day, Russian sources reported that the country had officially closed its airspace to flights over the Kapustin Yar test site, a facility specializing in missile testing and the launch point of the Oreshnik ballistic missile that struck the Yuzhmash enterprise in Dnipro, Ukraine.
According to sources, the airspace closure will last until November 30th. Some experts believe this move may be related to Russia's preparation for a new attack on Ukraine, possibly again with Oreshnik missiles or testing a new weapon.
Also on November 27, in a conversation with RIA Novosti , the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that the US has yet to realize the consequences of its involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, but Moscow assured that it would make Washington "tremble and astonished."
He noted that, currently, the administration of outgoing US President Joe Biden is "very easily" discussing the details of attacks on Russia using Washington's weapons, and that this action confirms they are already a party to the conflict.
On the US side, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby stated that Washington's decision to allow Ukraine to attack Russia with its weapons would likely increase the risk of nuclear war.
