The Shark’s exterior design borrows many ideas from the Ford F-150 Lightning. This is clearly shown through the prominent grille with the “BYD” characters and the vertical headlights with LED borders, creating a strong and modern look. The body is also decorated with embossed ribs, combined with 18-inch alloy wheels, creating a strong, muscular appearance.

The interior of the BYD Shark is fully equipped with modern technology. The dashboard includes a 10.25-inch digital clock and a 12.8-inch infotainment screen with a rotating design. The car also supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice recognition. A special feature is that the Shark also integrates a karaoke function with a handheld microphone, this is the first time a pickup truck has been equipped with this feature.

In addition, the car also has amenities such as digital lock, 50W wireless phone charger, 12-inch HUD screen, panoramic monitoring system to help the driver easily observe the terrain below the car.

BYD Shark is equipped with a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) engine combined with a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, producing more than 430 horsepower. Charging time from 30% to 80% takes only 20 minutes.

BYD Shark has a load capacity of up to 835 kg, pulling capacity of 2.5 tons. Although the pulling capacity is not too impressive, but with the independent front and rear suspension system, the car still ensures stable operation on many types of terrain. Shark also has the ability to supply power to other devices (V2L), remote monitoring application, allowing door locking, turning on/off the air conditioner remotely.
